Abstract: This paper empirically analyses the impact of informatization development to scientific & technological progress, based on panel data of 31 provinces from 2005-2009 in China. The research indicates: Informatization development has a positively impact on scientific & technological progress. The impact also has regional difference. The average impact of informatization development to scientific & technological progress decreases in recent 5 years. This paper analyses the reasons for the formation of these status , and discusses the concrete path and measure by which informatization development can have a positively impact on scientific& technological progress.

摘要： 本文采用我国2005-2009年31个省（直辖市、自治区）的面板数据实证分析了信息化发展对于科技进步的影响。研究表明：信息化发展对于科技进步具有显著正向影响作用。其影响作用存在省际地域差异，且近五年来全国信息化对科技进步的平均影响水平呈现逐年下降趋势。本文剖析了这种现状形成的原因，探讨了信息化发展促进科技进步的具体路径及对策。
