Abstract: Events are regarded as an important driving factor for the establishment of social enterprises. Drawing on event system theory, we analyze the impact of events on the establishment process of social enterprises to break through the "cognitive bottleneck" of social enterprises. This paper takes four social enterprises as research samples to conduct a multi-case study on the impact mechanism of events on the process of social entrepreneurship in China with event system theory. Results show that key events play an important role in promoting the process of social entrepreneurship. What’s more, key events play an important moderating role in manifesting social problems, stimulating entrepreneurs' personal characteristics and obtaining social support. Specifically, events could make potential social problems manifesting and stimulate the inherent personal characteristics of social entrepreneurs, which will increase the possibility of identifying opportunities for social entrepreneurship. Furthermore, events could influence other entities to help social entrepreneurs to obtain social support, and then promote the landing of social entrepreneurship at the practical level.

摘要： 事件是推动社会企业创立的重要因素，剖析事件对社会企业创立过程的影响机制有助于突破社会企业的“认知瓶颈”。本文选取四家有代表性的社会企业，基于事件系统理论对事件如何影响社会企业创立过程进行多案例研究。研究发现，关键事件对推动社会企业创立具有重要作用，事件强度属性越大，推动作用越强；关键事件在显化社会问题、激发创业者个人特质与获取社会支持方面具有重要调节作用，即：事件可以使潜在的社会问题显化，激发社会创业者固有的个人特质，增加社会创业机会识别的可能性，进一步地，事件通过影响其他实体，帮助社会创业者获取社会支持，继而推动社会创业在实践层面的落地。
